Flux Capacitor - Rocking the Free World since 2004
New Album Released!!

Welcome to the Official Flux Capacitor web site! Flux Capacitor has a brand new album out in stores now! (Well, not really in stores...but you know how it is.) Their new EP, entitled Groove Quantize, represents a change of pace for the duo, whose debut album Start It Up featured mostly acoustic guitar with the occasional egg shaker. Quantize raises the bar considerably for the group, featuring drum tracks, electric guitars, bass, keyboards, and even some harmonica. Whilst most bands don't live up to expectations and fall victim to the dreaded sophomore slump, Flux has yet again proven their critics wrong and blown their fans away with a completely different sounding, but undeniably rockin', sophomore album.

Groove Quantize is an album full of surprises for fans and critics alike. Each song on the album represents a different genre of music, showcasing the duo's ability to take on almost any major genre and come out victorious. With nods to piano rock, country, folk, instrumental, classic 70's sounds, and more, Flux lets the music flow and never looks back. Swayze himself would be proud.

Flux Capacitor is made up of Jeremy Blanton and Ben Pearson, two guys who met one fateful day on a safari on the plains of the Serengeti. After introducing themselves, they both realized that the other possessed an innate ability to play the guitar, and they joined forces and returned to the US to become the most formidible duo since Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. Their debut album, Start It Up, sold over 12 copies on Fleming Island alone, and they are currently reaching cult classic status on many college campi around the country, including Clemson University, University of North Florida, Florida State University, University of Florida, Wake Forest University, University of Central Florida, and even Denver University.

Give the guys a call if you need a copy of their CDs...they are more than happy to extend their fan base. Look for them on tour this fall as they open for Kings of Leon.
